What is a Shadow Song

Sometimes when using the client, you may notice something called the Shadow song. A Shadow song is simply an empty placeholder song used to fill an empty space.

A page in the songbook must always contain two songs. In the scenario that your songbook has an odd number of songs a Shadow song is used to substitute the imaginary song at the end of the songbook. Also, when a new songbook is created, two Shadow songs are created to give the WebView a page to display.

Shadow songs are managed internally by the WebView controller and the Collection manager. They are not a part of any collection and their regarding logic should not be altered to ensure proper displaying and exporting of the songbook.
