Editing templates

If you are unfamiliar with HTML and CSS, here are some basic resources.

Editing templates

There are two types of templates.

First there is the stylesheet in /resources/style.css that contains all the styles that are used in the songbook. Editing this stylesheed is not recommended, anything from the songlist to the page view may not display correctly. Instead, create your own stylesheet and then link it to the files you need.

The second type of template, or the actual templates are the HTML files in /resources/templates/. The only recommended change you should make is to change the title in songlist.html to your language of choice. The frontpage.html template displays only the picture at /resources/assets/frontpage.png. You may change the path but you can also just replace the picture.

Be careful when you edit the templates, because every part of the songbook will be affected by such changes. Backup your songs and templates regularly!
