Keyboard Shortcuts

The desktop client offers a number of keyboard shortcuts to simplify and quicken the user experience. All existing keyboard shortcuts are covered on this page.

Main Window

Main window is the window where you see a page of the actual songbook along with a toolbar menu on the right side.

Available shortcuts:

• Left Arrow / Page Down - turn one page to the left
• Right Arrow / Page Up - turn one page to the right
• Ctrl + S - save data
• Ctrl + L - load data
• Ctrl + R - refresh
• Ctrl + Shift + R - hardcore refresh
• Ctrl + H - open GitHub wiki (help)
• Ctrl + O - open associated links
• Ctrl + N - add new song
• Ctrl + Alt + A - Open the remote server admin panel
• Ctrl + Alt + L - Open the log file
• Ctrl + Alt + S - Open the settings.
• Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S - Open recovery shell

Collection Editor

Collection Editor is the window which pops up when you click the 'Edit' button in the Main Window. It contains a listview and a toolbar of buttons in the bottom.

Available shortcuts:

• Delete - delete selected item
• Ctrl + R - refresh list
• Shift + Delete - delete currently selected song without confirmation dialog
• Ctrl + N - add new song
• Ctrl + Shift + N - add an easter version of the currently selected song

HTML Editor

HTML Editor is the window you can edit your songs in. It opens upon clicking 'Edit HTML' button.

Available shortcuts:

• Ctrl + S - save data
• hold Shift - skip exit dialog
