Hello. My name is Tim Otten (@totten), and I’m going to be the release-manager for an upcoming iteration of CiviCRM (v4.7.8; scheduled for Wed, June 1, 2016). You’ve submitted a PR to CiviCRM’s master branch which is still open. Thanks for preparing that contribution and having some patience! I want to talk a bit about how we can get it merged for the upcoming release.
The civicrm.org developers have recently decided to organize stronger peer-review before accepting incremental changes. We believe this will produce higher-quality releases for all our users, but review isn't free -- for every patch submitted, someone has to spend more time doing review!
And here's the tricky part: you can't review your own patch. You need to partner with someone else who can be objective. Fortunately, there are several developers (like the core team) who understand that peer-review is an important responsibility in our profession -- we just need to get matched-up with like-minded folks.
If you’d like to collaborate in peer-review this month, please open the planning document, read the instructions, and then add your name and preference:
For reference, the following PRs are candidates for this release, sorted roughly into topics. (If you'd like to do a topic differently, please feel free to post to the chat or email.)
