Include other Markdown files

Andreas Behringer edited this page Oct 21, 2024 · 1 revision

General syntax

The syntax has been intentionally derived from the Markdown syntax to include images.

![include](path/example2.md "Reference text")

include is the signal for spell that this is an include command.

path/example2.md this is the relative path and name of the file to me included. The extension has to be .md as a second identification that this is an sub-markdown-file inclusion and not an image.

Reference text is optional and can be used for your own reference in the source file. It is currently not used in the epub file.
