2. Installation

A working installation of Forge, appropriate for your desired Minecraft and mod version.
Place the mod jar file inside your “mods” folder, which will typically be located in your .minecraft folder. If you do not see it, create it.
To complete the installation, launch Minecraft with the mod installed.
If you are on Windows, you can open your .minecraft folder by pressing Win + R and typing %APPDATA%\.minecraft
