is this list up to date for final 0.2.5 or the next beta? is there any due date for this release?

Might the extensive updates even warrant a 0.3.0 version?

I organized things a little be and pushed up some things holding back a release. I'm going to review things and put together a release. RTD is currently pinning all builds to <0.3.0, as we follow semver with all our repos. So this protects us from pushing out a large release like this to everyone immediately.

I'll raise a new issue to discuss how to keep development moving here, as we're talking about how to organize our milestones on RTD more effectively as well. We don't like to use large releases, so shortening the release cycle is a good step. I don't know how exactly we prioritize work here, but I think de-prioritizing refactoring and cleanup is a good step. We are moving to this with other RTD repos, as our focus shifts more to building features and fixing bugs.

Anyways, we can discuss there.
