Comments
Will need complete boot log. |
Hm seems to work on the one rasp. I'll UART the other one tomorrow. But it could be power related. |
OK could be closed. It was power related! |

commit 021611d upstream. Add a test case to ensure that attaching a tail callee program with an freplace program fails, and that updating an extended program to a prog_array map is also prohibited. This test is designed to prevent the potential infinite loop issue caused by the combination of tail calls and freplace, ensuring the correct behavior and stability of the system. Additionally, fix the broken tailcalls/tailcall_freplace selftest because an extension prog should not be tailcalled. cd tools/testing/selftests/bpf; ./test_progs -t tailcalls 337/25 tailcalls/tailcall_freplace:OK 337/26 tailcalls/tailcall_bpf2bpf_freplace:OK 337 tailcalls:OK Summary: 1/26 PASSED, 0 SKIPPED, 0 FAILED Acked-by: Eduard Zingerman <eddyz87@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Leon Hwang <leon.hwang@linux.dev> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20241015150207.70264-3-leon.hwang@linux.dev Signed-off-by: Alexei Starovoitov <ast@kernel.org> [ Yifei: bpf freplace update is backported to linux-6.12 by commit 987aa73 ("bpf: Prevent tailcall infinite loop caused by freplace"). In 3.9.10 the error shows "irqpoll" needed.
Updated /boot on sdcard with new firmware, but no luck to get it working at all.
Hardware setup Rasp with Powersupply, External hdd with power supply.
System settings of the gentoo 2.2 image
sdcard
/dev/mmcblk0p1 2 GB vfat
external hdd
/dev/sda3 48G ext4
Was working short before last update of 3.9.7.
"commit 7889cd6"
"Merge: bbd6677 ccd0dcb"
"Author: popcornmix popcornmix@gmail.com"
"Date: Mon Jun 24 05:03:37 2013 -0700"
" Merge pull request #317 from rm-hull/rpi-3.9.y"
" Build failure caused by missing EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL(bcm_dma_wait_idle); in dma.c"
The hdd is not shown when starting the rasp.
SDcard only setup with root partition on sdcard is doing fine. (3.10.y/3.9.y)
Will write full error message this evening when testing is possible.
