Deprecate Python 3.4 #437

Per PEP 429, Python 3.4 is retired and reached end of life on March 18, 2019. Dropping support for it will greatly simplify maintenance and some code. Let's do that.

This has been fixed in 8.0.0 which is now live on PyPI and Docker Hub. Apologies for any delays in getting this released.
