For this to work, you need to run
./xmlchange VCGSITE=your_sitewhere your_site is one of the 12 VCG sites.
Note that the
/cime_config/config_component.xmlchanged here is not the same file asctsm/components/cdeps/datm/cime_config/config_component.xmlso I put it in a "cime_config" folder to keep them separate!
