Step 5 : Server's assembly

This step is for assembling the server's pcb to the printed parts and finishing the server's box.

1. Take the server's base and 4 threaded inserts, place them in the holes and push them inside with a soldering iron (watch this video if you need help)

2. Take the server's lid, a slide switch, 2 screws and screw the switch.

3. Now take the 2 led rings and glue them in the slots with the glue gun, make sure the pins are accessible in the hole on the back of the lid.

4. Take the light diffusers and glue them on top of the rings

5. Take the server's pcb and the buzzer and solder the buzzer

6. Take 5 wires, 1x9cm and 4x5cm

take the server's lid

And solder them like this, the DO of the first ring must be connected to the DI of the second one

7. Take 3x8cm wires and 2 heat shrink tubes

Place the heat shrink tubes like this

Solder the matching wires

Solder the new wires at the connection and place the heat shrink tubes around the exposed part and heat them

8. Take the pcb and the lid

Solder the wires to the pcb

9. Take a 9cm wire and solder it to the middle pin of the slide switch and to the VCC of the pcb

10. Take the base, the lid and 2 screws and screw the pcb

11. Take the AA battery holder and cut it's wires like this

Take the glue gun and glue the AA battery holder and the buzzer

12. Solder the red wire of the AA battery holder to the left side pin of the slide switch

13. Take the 3 AA batteries and place them in the holder

14. Take the M3 screws and close the lid

And you're done ! Now you should have all the three parts
