[Icon request] Icons for apps on mobile Linux #2747
Comments
Hm... Papirus not distribute on any mobile linux os. An this request not have high priority |
Sorry for closing and opening this again, Papirus can be installed on mobile Linux using the Papirus installer, or through other methods. It's ok if you don't want to support mobile Linux, and don't want to create icons for it, but could you give me a definitive answer if that is the case? I find Papirus to be an integral part of my Linux experience, and I find it to be the best icon theme there is for Linux, or for any operating system, but with missing icons, it loses its purpose. Almost every app I've used on Linux has had an icon from you, and I thank you for all the work you've put into making that a reality, but I'd just like to see a few more to complete the theme on mobile Linux. I'm not a designer myself, but if I was I'd definitely try to contribute. I really hope I get to see icons for these apps from you, but if not, please close this issue. Thanks for your work on this wonderful theme! PS: These are pretty much the most popular apps made specifically for mobile Linux. So if you make icons for these, you work here is pretty much done, but you would've made an invaluable contribution to a growing platform, a platform that doesn't really yet feel like it belongs, but with your help we can make it better. Thank you for everything! |
That would definitely be appreciated! I don't know how to install the Android version so I'm never seen those, but they seem appropriate. Thank you for your work on this theme! |
nl.brixit.powersuppl should be nl.brixit.powersupply. Not sure how the last letter got cut off. It's more of a power statistics app than a system monitor app so maybe symlink to gnome-power-statistics? |
ok, fixed |
These are icon requests for applications on mobile Linux and used by mobile Linux distributions like Mobian. I'm not sure if it's been an intentional decision by Papirus not to create icons for mobile Linux, but in any case, these apps, and probably others, don't have any, although Papirus does already contain icons for their desktop equivalents that could be adapted if need be. Thanks for your work on this amazing icon theme and hopefully these apps will have icons soon!
