[BUG]: Trivial Pursuit (SLUS-21869) occasionally hangs after boot

Describe the Bug

During Trivial Pursuit, a number of FMVs play to show things like the EA and Hasbro logos after you boot but before you get into the main menu. Those FMVs can seemingly lock up, at which point you are unable to progress to the main menu. I cannot say for sure if this is a hardware issue, but it's common enough that it seems like it ought not to be.

Reproduction Steps

Start up Trivial Pursuit and see if the game freezes before you get to the main menu. This is inconsistent, but you'd have to be very lucky not to get it within 10 tries, and even just a few should be sufficient.

I tested this on various versions, and the earliest I reproduced it on was v1.7.5535. However, I suspect this is present on older versions than that as well.

Expected Behavior

The game should make it to the main menu.

Included screenshot of where the game froze as well as a GS dump that shows the main menu being rendered in SW mode. The screenshot corresponds to the dump, so this is quite bizarre.
