The classical sense of a 'whitelist' is to be the opposite of a blacklist. What you added here is basically a manual-idle-into-infinity mode, but not a way to whitelist only certain app IDs (to let one use fast mode, but only for some games, for an example).

@Luckz I completely agree now looking back at it. Do you have any suggestions for a better name of the current "whitelist mode"?

Is there an ongoing feature request for a whitelist that would apply to fast mode idling (and other automated idling)?
