02 [EN] Create a tournament
When the software starts, a window propose you to create a new software or open an exisisting one.
New tournament
For a tournament creation, you need to select "New Tournement" in the first window or click on the the menu "File/New". The next window will be displayed to ask yo uif the tournement will be an individual or team tournament.
The game type is not really important.
2.1. Individual
If you choose individual, the other options don't matter.
2.2. Team
2.2.1. Number of choaches
If you choose a team tournament, some new options are avilable as the pairing type or the number of coachs.
The option "Substitution allowed" permits to enable or disable the coachs in each team for each round. This a coach can substitute another one during the tournament.
2.2.2. Pairing type
Then, the pairing type shall be set.
2.2.2.1. Individual pairing :
The match are set in using swiss round algorithm with individual draw, but the members of the same team can not play against each othe. Inthat case the team points are the sum of the coachs' points, the is no team bonus.
2.2.2.2. Team pairing :
The team pairing correspond to team vs team matchs. In that case, additional choice must be done: the inner team pairing
The options are :
- « ranking » : The pairing is done according to individual results.
- « manual »: decided by a supreme entity (Organizers or captains).
- « random » : let the dices decide
- « NAF ranking» : the pairing is decided by the ranking at the beggining of the tournament. A NAF ranking update is needed for this option.
2.3. Multi-roster
During the tournament, the coachs can change their roster (voluntary or not). For this purpose double click on the coach in the match array.
