In Python 3.12.1 our hard earned Python 3.12 compatibility broke.
It seems to be caused by python/cpython@551aa6a

We have zopefoundation/zope.testrunner#157 to fix this issue on our end.
Until it is fixed, merged, released and used Zope cannot be considered to be Python 3.12 compatible any more.

See this issue more as an heads up to release a new Zope version once the testrunner issue has been fixed.
