Summary:

  • checkboxes for options instead of links
  • respects prefers-reduced-motion
  • some changes to focus/hover behavior:
    • pauses on hover, if the play/pause button has not been actively set
    • pauses on tablist focus, if the play/pause button has not been actively set
    • always pauses when focus is within a slide
  • some code shuffling
