How can I show citations/sources in responses

I want to use the the new RAG middleware to do queries in my vector DB. I would like to show the original source, but I am not sure what the best practice is to do this with the AI SDK.

Anyone have any experience doing something similar? And how does this fit in the middleware?

Indeed, something similar to this Langchain implementation would be great. It's unclear to me how this would work in the AI SDK

You could try sending it out via providerMetadata / experiemntal_providerMetadata for now and then forward it to the UI with stream data.
