Name of the project
The project is named Preupgrade Assistant. This name should be used in an official written texts like Knowledge Base articles, emails, marketing materials or documentation.
The rpm package is named preupgrade-assistant. This name should be used only in a context regarding the package, not the project as a whole. For example man pages, READMEs or package data should be stored in a path containing /preupgrade-assistant/. It should also be used in places, where space is not allowed, like in URL.
preupg is the name for the executable and also for the python module installed by the preupgrade-assistant package.
Using partial abbreviations like preup or preupgrade should be avoided as much as possible in official communication channels, except #preupgrade IRC channel as a matter of legacy.
