Description

UFS weather-model should update to the latest BS of ESMF (14). An upcoming commit to CMEPS will require this update (ie 8.2.0 or higher).

Solution

Test esmf-8.2.0 beta snaphot 14 on hera using hpc stack maintained by Mark Potts. If successful, then ask for official hpc-stack install across all platforms.
