Prerequisites

  • This is not a support issue or a question
  • I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue
    • Your issue may already be reported.
  • I tried to reproduce the issue when...
    • uBlock Origin is the only extension
    • uBlock Origin with default lists/settings
    • using a new, unmodified browser profile
  • I am running the latest version of uBlock Origin

Describe the issue

How to reproduce:
When adding a rule such as * whatever://* * noop and clicking "Save".
The page will freeze until refreshed.
The whatever can be replaced by anything, but can't be empty.

Effect:
The list of rules become blank until the temporary rule is removed by disabling and re-enabling uBO.
The rest of the functionality seems to be fine.

I published an emergency revision because this wholly breaks thre "My rules" pane -- the error is that I simply forgot to import punycode.js library.
