Proposing this as we have determined that there is an issue with upgrading (#236), however, I am not as clear how we should proceed from a release stand point. 14.1.0 was released with this change in it specifically. I have reached out to the maintainers of those modules and packages to find a resolution but I do not think we will get something in the time frame we would need it.
