PDM-Glossary

PDM-Glossary's innovative claim is that it is:

• Logically consistent
• Machine readable (and human readable)
• Scalable
• Includes entities of interest to individuals (but not about the person)

It acheives this by formally defining entity semantics via the following hierarchy of standard and emerging standard ontologies:

• ISO/IEC-JTC1 21838-2 Basic Formal Ontology
• IEEE P3195.1 Common Core Ontology (CCO)
• IEEE P3195.1.2 Cyber Ontology
• IEEE P3195.1.2 Person Ontology (and its draft Orphan-classes Ontology)

Next Steps in Development

To refine and expand PDG-Glossary, a series of Use-Case Pilots will develop, test, and implement new capabilities, which will provide feedback on the entities needed in this glossary. The current Use-Case is in the repository Data-Portability Pilot
