Create an Image object in python
import Image; img = Image.open(the_filename); 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would expect the object img to appear in the workspace, but is does not. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Spyder 1.0.0
Python 2.6.4rc2, Qt 4.5.2, PyQt 4.6, QScintilla 2.4 on Linux
Why don't you put all kinds of objects to the workspace it could be quite helpful to
have your object in the workspace and on a right click get a list of the class
methods (of course this is nearly impossible if you have 100 methods...)
