What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.install python(x,y) 2.6.3.0 (having installed 2.1.15)
2.uninstall python(x,y) 2.1.15 (because of some errors)
3.install python(x,y) 2.6.3.0 again
4.Starting spyder What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Spyder Window with spider icon (as before) What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? python(x,y) 2.6.3.0
OS: Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2

Please provide any additional information below

I would recommend to uninstall and reinstall Python(x,y) 2.6.3.0.
To be honest, I'm quite surprised that this is the only bug following a double
installation of Python(x,y) on your machine! In Python(x,y) installation notes, one
of the recommendations is to uninstall any previously installed Python distribution
-- this includes other Python(x,y) installations. That is simply because it was not
designed for it and so it's not supported and not tested - hence not recommended.

Yes, it's working correct now!
(I just restarted spyder and it's showing up now...?)
