Steps to reproduse:

  1. write in editor: 'obj.method' and press Enter.
  2. write 'obj.' and now you see complition list with one element - 'method'.
  3. Spyderlib application lost focus and now not response on any key pressed.
    To return back focus I should press +

Environment:

OS: Ubuntu 9.04
DE: Gnome 2.26.1
Python version: 2.6.2
QT version: 4.5.0

This a known bug which is not coming from Spyder but from Gnome/Compiz, see: https://code.google.com/p/pydee/issues/detail?id=30&can=1
