Commvault Java

Connector to Commvault that allows OpCon to submit backup requests to Commvault through the Web Services API. diagrm

The job definitions are entered as Windows jobs using the Commvault Job Sub-Type. When the job is scheduled by OpCon the arguments are passed to the connector and a completion code is returned.

The connector supports the following backup types by default.

  • DIFFERENTIAL
  • INCREMENTAL
  • FULL
  • PRE_SELECT
  • SYNTHETIC_FULL

Prerequisites

  • Requires Commvault web services which is provided by Commvault version 11.
  • Requires Java version 11.
    • Embedded OpenJDK included in installation zip file.
