Can't see the app frame :(

I got into this state somehow on my mac where I couldn't see the app frame on my connected monitor but I could see it on my laptop when I disconnected from my monitor. Turning on mirroring somehow fixed it for me.

EDIT Never mind... it disappeared again. :(

Darn :-/ Will keep digging. I changed the Java packaging system to work better on Yosemite, must've broken something.

Wait... I'm an idiot. I didn't have Java installed (just got a new machine). Looks like it is working now. Let me test it for a couple more days and I'll report back.
