sphinx_rtd_theme hangs in web browser

Perhaps I've implemented the theme wrong in my python doc, but when I use sphinx to generate html docs for even the simplest code the web browser hangs (locks up, freezes, etc.).

However, if I stop the loading it unlocks it and everything seems to have loaded fine. Someone has pin-pointed the issue (line 88 of layout.html). I deleted this line and it works fine.

What browser are you using? That link isn't really broken (it would be if you just pasted it). Added an http: in front to see if that fixes your issue.

FWIW, if they support https, we should just default to https. That avoids
any content warnings for docs that want to use https, because we don't
point at the http version.
