This build should currently fail with a loud newsletter-november-2022.rst:22:unknown document: theme-release-110 - but it seems like warnings are ignored.

@benjaoming we can enable https://docs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/config-file/v2.html#sphinx-fail-on-warning

"Wagtail" can be Awesome Project of the Month, unless there is a newer one brewing @humitos ? :)

Ah yes, what I meant was that I would (re)use Wagtail in the Newsletter unless there is something newer coming up in the next days.

I think the Newsletter will be ready for review/release on Monday.

Notes for other topics:

News:

Upcoming:

  • Audit logging for invitations
  • sphinx-rtd-theme 1.2
  • Search API updates

Also a good reminder would be that https://about.readthedocs.com is receiving lots of updates and we would love to hear feedback? @agjohnson ?

Gotcha! It's fine to use Wagtail in this version of the newsletter since it was posted on Oct.

Let me know if there's anything you find to bold about this announcement -- I just find it necessary to remind people that run into these issues that we are committed to fixing them. docutils 0.18 support is on a lot of peoples' radar AFAICT:

@benjaoming I think it's best if you handle the whole process, otherwise responsibilities get confused. No rush to ship it today.
