I noted small change on the layout plugin, the new implementation in element uses a different default value for the filesystem. On yip this is set to ext2 and on elemental it is set to ext4. Despite this is a behavior change I think is better to keep it as is now (ext4 as default), since this is aligned with elemental defaults.
