Is this due to the Upstart/Ubuntu 14.04 issue? Ideally this will be resolved with chef-cilent 12 :) If not, can you rebase off master sand explain why this would be useful? |

Yeah, it looks like that issue, as it was seen on 14.04. The recipe in your pr looks like it would resolve the issue by notifying the appropriate service rather than creating a new resource inline. |

This addition in 3.2.2 was not guarded by checking if the init.d script actually existed.
