User type metadata displaying user id instead of display name in notification

Hi,

We are looking to modify our notification email so that it includes the assigned editor's name. In this case, Editor 1 and Editor 2. The shortcodes that we are using works but only displays the user ID and not their actual name. Is there any way to display their name instead of their user ID?
