Lloyd's Beacon

A shell tool for rapid filesystem navigation

Install

• Download the beacon.sh file
• Add an alias to your .bashrc/.zshrc pointing to and using beacon.sh as a source i.e. alias lb='source ~/scripts/beacon/beacon.sh'
• Reload/restart your shell

Usage

• [alias] add [name] Adds a beacon to the current directory using the given name
• [alias] [name] Returns to they directory of a beacon with the given name
• [alias] [name] Deletes a beacon with the given name
• [alias] list Displays all beacons
