Hi there 👋

I am a PhD student with Alex Ecker. I am interested in discovering the brain using deep learning as a tool. I am particularly curious about the (functional) cell types from the biological perspective. From the technical side, I work on reproducibility, dimensionality reduction, clustering, and start looking into the multi-modal foundational models for predicting neurons activity, with a focus on dynamic models.

In 2023, jointly with Paul Fahey we co-leaded the Sensorium 2023 competition to make deep learning predictive models more accessible, improve state of the art models and close the bridge between the computational and experimental communities.

I am open for internships and collaborations in both neuroscience and ML, espesially in the field of (mechanistic) interpretability and/or multimodal learning, or interesting full-time offers for research scientist/engineer.
