Compatibility

Liferay GSearch is primarily developed on commercial Liferay DXP versions but it also works on recent CE versions. Please find the binary distributions as well as compatibility information by portal version in binaries folder. Custom Elasticsearch adapters are provided for several portal versions but if an adapter for you portal version is not available, please leave a ticket.

If you'd like to build your own custom adapter on CE versions, you can find the source code in my Liferay Portal fork at https://github.com/peerkar/liferay-portal. Select a respective GSearch branch and navigate to modules/apps/portal-search-elasticsearch6.
