This was solved, many thanks to Sup3ermark on the Home Assistant Discord channel, by following these instructions: "Go into Integrations > HACS, click Configure, check the Enable AppDaemon apps discovery & tracking box and click Submit. then click the three dots and select Reload. this should allow HACS to start, at which point you'll then be able to update to 2.0.2. after a reboot, you can go back in and uncheck the Enable AppDaemon apps discovery & tracking box if you want." HACS is now showing in the integrations without the red outline and after restarting, clearing the browser cache and refreshing the Home Assistant tab in the browser, HACS is back in the left menu as well. I hope other members of this community find this helpful. |

So, the above was a partial solution in that HACS was now working, but all of the downloaded integrations had disappeared from the HACS dashboard and therefore I wouldn't have been able to update them. After some excellent advice from make-all on Discord, I managed to download the integrations again from the list in HACS. This did not delete the previous data (I was worried that it might), and touch wood, everything seems to be working fine now. |
