Autonomous Karting Series (AKS) Competition

• 6 teams participated in the competition
  -- Autoware CoE | University of Pennsylvania
  -- University of California, Berkeley
  -- University of California, San Diego
  -- Purdue University
  -- University of Michigan Dearborn
  -- Kennesaw State University
• Autoware CoE | University of Pennsylvania team finished 1st place in both open and reactive categories
• open race
• reactive race
• For the open category race, we ran at an average speed of ~6.5 m/s, about 35% faster than last year. Broke the fastest record for 5 laps.
• The Fix-Position Vision RTK2 sensor that we added at the last minute worked very well during practice days and on race day.
• For the reactive race, we went 2.5 laps and avoided two obstacles in one attempt. We forfeited two earlier attempts because of mechanical issues.
