Can't uninstall node Gyp - Windows #2091

Hello, for an unknown reason I have node gyp installed on my nodeJS installation but I don't need it.
Each time I try to do "npm i", gyp try to do his things and failed.
I've tryed

npm uninstall -g node-gyp
I've totally uninstalled node and clear the node cache un %APPDATA% and i've searched in any forlder where is gyp to delete it.
I've cleared the node path, and delete node_module in my project.
Reboot.

Then when I try to reinstall and do "npm i", gyp is still here with the same error.

Can somebody help me please ?

For readability of the logs, please three backticks on a line by themselves above the top of the log and the same below the bottom of the log.

Even in the latest log, it still says gyp info using node-gyp@3.8.0

Sorry, but logs are already inside backticks. Characters encode errors are because of my french computer :(
I don't know why, but I can't upgrade node-gyp to 6.1 version. I've force installed node-gyp into this version but package generation still use the 3.8.
However I have solved my problem.

  • Uninstall Visual Studio 2019 and installer
  • Uninstall VS microsoft build tools
  • Uninstall node v12
  • Clear each repository with node, cache, npm, node-gyp, nugget, Visual Studio config, etc... in %APPDATA%
  • Delete my local project with node_module
  • reboot
  • install node v10.16
  • reboot
  • npm i -> it works !

That's not the proper way to fix the problem, but I actualy don't need Visual Studio 2019 or node in his latest version so...
