Caldav calendar access password is not changed when changing

Steps to reproduce

1. change password

Expected behaviour

Password to access calendars via caldav should change, too.

Actual behaviour

Old password still works, new one doesn't.

Server configuration

I'm a user. All I can find is "nextcloud 13"

Client configuration

Emacs org-caldav-sync

GitMate.io thinks possibly related issues are #8766 (Caldav ), #9605 (CalDav Issue, Calendar and Tasks not working), #6512 (Change CALDAV to allow calendars be shared with circles.), #6510 (Caldav - calendar sync on ios not working with special chars in password), and #1262 (Force a password change).

For some reason it works now. I don't know what I did differently before or what part of the system changed though.
