This portfolio showcases the maps and mapping-based projects completed as part of the coursework for the Geographic Information Systems Technology III Certificate of the Geospatial Technology and Data Science program at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, California, during the 2022–2023 academic year.
- Big Bear Maps, a series of maps of a study area in Big Bear National Forest, San Bernardino County, California. The last three maps reflect spatial analysis conducted using ArcGIS Pro.
- Elevation and hillshade map of Mount Shasta, an active volcano in Siskiyou County, California.
- Project Unigauge: Eliminating breaks of gauge across India's railways. Final project for GIST 11: Introduction to Mapping and Spatial Reasoning. Note: Requires ArcGIS login.
- High School to Healthcare: A Possible Career Pathway. Final project for GIST 12: Introduction to Geospatial Technology.
Using LANDSAT data, this project charts the shrinking of the Great Salt Lake in Utah over a period of 37 years. Analysis and Conclusions are presented in two pdfs:
