This project was developed for an university class where the principles of mechanical design and project studied on other subjects were to be implemented in a real setting.
The project was to be developed during a semester and entailed the definition and calculation of all required elements to build an industrial gearbox with 9 speeds to connect a motor to a conveyor belt of an abrasive material to test abrasion on material samples.
