v3.0.0-beta5
Beta5 is hot off the presses, as we continue to add features and squash bugs! New since Beta4:
- There's an icon in the play bar to toggle a waveform visualizer. So if you want to see how loud that sound clip gets, now you can!
- When importing a song (or directory of songs), you can add a new category right from the import screen
- You can drag the holding tank, search box, and hotkeys left or right to rearrange them
- Changed auto-updates to be more reliable
- When Autoplay reaches the end of the list it stops (vs looping back to the beginning)
- When a song is playing via Autoplay, playing a song outside Autoplay (either via double-clicking on search results or via a hotkey) disables Autoplay.
v3.0.0-beta4
What's better than beta3? Beta 4! It's one better! New since, er, yesterday:
- Fade-out was too aggressive, in that it was actually an immediate stop. Now you can shift-escape, or shift-click on Pause or Stop to fade out slowly once again. Adjust the fade time in the Preferences!
- Hopefully prevented you from being able to resize the window so small that the play controls disappear. You'll likely find a way to outwit us, though.
v3.0.0-beta3
New since Beta 2:
- Window that pops up the first time you run the app to welcome you
- Logging to a centralized file that can be inspected
- Grey out song title if song is muted
- Mute button actually mutes
- Icon size increased on hotkeys and holding tank
- Fixed auto play not going to next song if triggered while a song is playing
- Fixed bug when clicking on the progress bar
- Support for Ogg Vorbis files, since I guess those are still a thing
v3.0.0-beta2
New in this release:
- Code signing for OS X builds (Windows code signing coming soon)
- Stop button is back
- Pause button is here
- Play/Pause/Stop buttons should be disabled when they are not available
- Preferences/About options should be under the conventional menus on Windows
- New app preference to control audio fade-out duration (shift-escape, shift-click on stop/pause)
- Initial database and directory creation should work for fresh-install systems that did not have Mr. Voice 2 on them previously
- When saving hotkeys, also save the tab name (if set)
- Can no longer have multiple modal windows open on top of each other
- New icon for OS X DMG file when mounted
