- reading and writing software, for the Internet Archive — Internet Archive Scholar and Vault, Leipzig University Library, Saxon State and University Library Dresden and others, mostly data engineering related, most of which is open source
- reading and writing books and papers
- organizing meetups
- assembling findings into talks and workshops
- answering questions on Stack Overflow
