Enhancement - A Dedicated page showing all configured/active shortcut key mappings #26275
Comments
Many people have actually been asking for this. Most point to Shortcut guide, but with PowerToys shortcuts. My idea is to change the system tray fly-out: make it bigger and include the hotkeys. Have a look at #24880 |
With the amount of new features and shortcuts cluttering the quicklaunch view in the systray might not be the best solution. An easy win is to atleast add them to the on/off list in the systray. Still I wonder if we'd need something more dedicated in Settings or Shortcut Guide (@crutkas @jaimecbernardo thoughts?). |
Then we might have to change to a solution as in #6836 |
Grouping by or Sorting by most used / recently setup would be a nice addition as well |
Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report! |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Can be used to quickly check the mapped keys, make sure there is no duplication with other tools or conflicts with windows default mapped keys. Perhaps colouring those mappings that conflict with each other.
Scenario when this would be used?
Changing a PowerToys tool key mapping requires checking all other tools to make sure it does not conflict. It lets users map the same key combinations without checking if it's already in use.
