Minema is a Minecraft mod for offline rendering and video capturing.

It was created originally by BarracudaATA. daipenger maintained it from 1.9 till 1.12.2 while also adding a couple of useful features. I, McHorse, maintained it for a while, and being currently active repo manager. MiaoNLI added a lot of cool features! Sekwah also contributed with a fix to transparency capturing code.

If your computer isn't capable of recording in-game videos at stable frame rate with a screen capturing software (like OBS), either because you have a low-end PC, or just the shader packs are too resource intensive, you can use Minema to record buttery smooth footage, at any resolution and any frame rate! It will just take longer...

Minema is also capable of recording 360 videos (thanks to MiaoNLI), with motion blur (also thanks to MiaoNLI), transparency (although it requires shaders to specifically support that), and stabilize ray tracing shaders' shading thanks to held frames feature.
