qGerent

The name qGerent was inspired from q(Queue) and Gerent(Manager). So qGerent basically stands for something that manages a queue.

Previously there was no option for booking for a hair salon. It was so hassle to go and maintain the queue physically. So, we prepared a application named QGerent where you can sit at your residence and book the reservation for having the service. Even you can see the queue and when your time to go for taking service. This is very time saving and here is first come first service so no one can break the queue. Even customer can see the updating of the serial. It makes easier to keep the safety also. Even when it will be overloaded for a day service provider can cancel the request for that day. Objective: To book for a service and able to see the queue virtually is the main purpose of this application. Besides this, maintain the safety issue is another motive.

    Challenges:

1. Database management: It was challenging for us to implement a real time database but using firebase solved the problem. 2. Getting users to install the app: We provoked the customers to know about amount of people in, crowd, estimated time and saving time before even coming to the shop by using the application. Hence, we inspired our customers to install the app. 3. Getting shop owners to install the app: We enlightened the hair dressers to maintain customers, to avoid crowd, to understand work pressure, time estimation etc. from the app. This made them buy our solution Opportunities:
