notes

  • JavaFX is like the standard way to make a Java UI.
  • I considered using Kotlin, but I don't think I want to make this an Android app. Next time maybe.
  • You need Gradle version 6.5 or lower to use the JavaFX plugin. Otherwise you have to do some extra work. I'll just use 6.5.
