Can you please provide a reproduction case or test against current master yourself? I'm wondering if #4654 may have already fixed it, since it corrected the working directory being used rather than anything specific to the plugin path. /triage needs-information |

Describe the bug
I noticed that the krm function container mount is relative to the base instead of the overlay.
Files that can reproduce the issue
If you look at the tree, you see that a mnt folder was created in base even though the generator is in the staging overlay.
Expected output
I expected it to be created in the staging overlay next to the generator config. (Originally I tried to mount from there)
Actual output
The mount path was created in the base directory.
