To resolve #11823, we needed to downgrade the library version. I do have an upstream fix PR waiting to be reviewed, but it still needs to be. We already reverted this library once before, but dependobot came by and updated it and we both missed it :( I'll add a ban on this repo to dependobot until the PR is merged.
